The last thing you want to do is replace your roof. The reality is that it could cost around $10,000 to replace a roof in its entirety if it wasn't covered by home insurance, and most of us just aren't in the mood to spend that kind of money on a regular basis. Typically, however, you won't have to spend that kind of money on a regular basis if you maintain your roof. And you'll end up spending much more if you don't engage roof replacement services in a timely manner.

This is because the alternative to buying a new roof is simply repairing the one you have over and over. There will reach a point when this is no longer effective and you're dealing with a roof that is not only ineffective but actively dangerous. Additionally, repairing a roof repeatedly is much more expensive than repairing it outright. With that being said, let's look into some of the main signs that it's time for you to replace your roof.

1. It's Leaking

Every now and then, a roof may leak. Typically, it's not too expensive to repair a minor leak. But if a leak becomes major or your roof is riddled with leaks or leaks repeatedly after repairs, you may want to consider engaging with roof replacement services.

2. Your Roof Has Been Infiltrated

What we mean by "infiltrated" is that your roof has been taken over by moss, mold, or fungi. While it's not uncommon for roofs to suffer from these issues on some level from time to time if you notice a good deal of it, this tends to be a sign that your roof has weaknesses that cannot be fixed.

3. Your Roof Is Sagging

If your roof has started to sag, this is a sure sign that it's time to call up roof replacement services. A sagging roof is a dangerous roof.

4. Missing Shingles

A missing shingle here or there is not unusual. But if you're missing many shingles, this is a sign that your roof has taken too much damage.

5. Your Energy Bills Are High

Heating and cooling bills are high enough as it is. If your bills are overly high, this could be a sign that your roof is not secure and is releasing cool air, and therefore needs to be replaced.

There are so many reasons why you should replace a roof quickly. Don't hesitate!
